About Us

I’m Jenn, I am a mother of 3 awesome, not so little cherubs,  one girl and two boys. A farmer's wife, living near a small town on the western downs in Queensland. I studied Beauty Therapy almost 16 years ago in Brisbane, and have loved working in the industry ever since.  

Beauty on the land was created after chatting to a wonderful friend who lives in Northern Qld. We chatted about everything, but by the end of the conversation she would tell me how her skin was, maybe her sunscreen had run out or her skin was feeling dryer than normal, the next few days following I would create a package designed for her needs.

That got me thinking, how many women were in a similar position? How many women would like to follow a skincare routine but don’t know where to start? How many women can’t get to their local beauty therapist regularly? How many women have a “town day” with lists bigger than they can manage and not one item on that list is for themselves?

So Beauty on the Land was born, this space is designed to, guide, encourage, inform, and celebrate rural women wanting to improve their skincare.

Sourcing Australian products is really important to me, however if its not Australian, it has the most amazing story behind it. Everything here has been tried and loved.
